Ingredients

Chicken and Marinade

  • 1 pound Boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 0.5 cup Plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander

Curry Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 1 large Onion
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato paste
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander
  • 0.25 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 2 cans Tomatoes
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 0.25 cup Cilantro
  • 0.5 cup Heavy cream

Instructions

    In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until softened and lightly browned, about 5-7 minutes.
